Blog issues
I don't like your blog. I'd have to sign up to not post anonymously, and that's too much work. and discussions will get buried. I don't like it at all.
honestly, I hate to be a bother, but this is really a giant pain in the ass. can you please move back to the old site? this place makes me feel like washing my hands 42 times a day.

this is a slap in the face to your most loyal and prolific reader. if I were a subscriber, I'd unsubscribe. booooooo! booooooooooooooooo!

P.S.: boooooooooo!
yes, this is essentially the same as my journal, which as you know is inferior to your former thoughts page. why would you take a step down? besides, you haven't responded to my response on the rephrasing thread. why? because it's too much work to notice and go through all the clickety-clicking. bah!
Comments from Capital:I'm sorry for my immaturity regarding your new blog. I had a hard time adjusting. I still don't like it as much as your old one, mostly because of the comments issue. it's very difficult to tell if there are new posts from the numbers, and it's too easy for good discussions to fall between the cracks. I advocate returning to your old site and old format or fixing that issue somehow, but if you refuse, I will do my best to embrace the new ways and go with the flow.

Yeah the blog really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really, really sucks. So, there are obviously some problems. It would seem that the biggest problem that people have is the new way that comments will be done. Comments are now behind a link corresponding to each post I make, so for a visitor to read all the new comments, he/she would have to click on the link corresponding to each post. This presents a problem because it means that any discussions I have with my readers will get buried in the comments section, unlike in the past when discussions have taken place on the main blogging area.
To combat this problem, I will not respond to comments within the comments section, but rather for any comments that I want to respond to, I shall quote the post and respond to it on the main page, similar to how I responded to comments on this post. To ensure that I do not overlook any posts, I will have an automatic reminder sent to my e-mail address to notify me of any comments.
Another issue that some people are having a problem with is including their name with their comment. In the past, there was a specific field that prompted the reader for a name, but now it is easier to forget to include a name. But, with time, I think this will be an easy adjustment to make.
I'm sure that I'm omitting some other concerns that we have, so please feel free to comment with your concerns so that I may address them.
